May Outings

A drive around one of our Ozark "blocks" one wet grey day, just because. And we carried the camera, just because. Maybe it was so you folks could "cum-long." Really it was just because it's what we always say we are going to do and never do, busy in the thick of thin things, while in the middle of beauty that's just basic to take for granted. So we took turns driving and just taking pictures of anything we liked. It's just our neighborhood.

We'd never been up and down and around this particular road, it doesn't go anywhere we need to go, and it doesn't get there in a hurry...But we wanted some adventure on a heavily overcast afternoon. So here's what we saw. (Almost. we didn't put in pictures of ALL the trees... or all the barns. )
Come "sit a spell and watch the window "with us.

You step out your door onto the road and who know where that might take you...dangerous business, that. (Ozarkians and hobbits have somewhat in common.) Not normal low water crossings. Determining when 'turn around don't drown" applies. Normal one lane bridges. Constantly determining wildling life spans, swerving around but NOT tailspinning the turtleshells. Not one was harmed in the filming of this jaunt.
